Teeth Whitening/Laser Bleaching Information:

Teeth Whitening or Bleaching is a great way to lighten your teeth and brighten your smile.

Laser bleaching is done in the office and takes about an hour and is a great way to lighten your teeth with immediate results.

Professional Bleaching Trays are made in our office from a mold of your teeth. This is a great way to lighten your teeth on your own and will take about 30 minutes a day for approximately two weeks.

Professional Strength Crest White Strips are stronger and thus faster than over the counter strips and lighten your front teeth and takes about two to three weeks.

In order to maintain your bright smile we recommend using white strips, custom trays, or laser bleaching yearly.

Laser Bleaching Instructions:

After Laser Bleaching you will enjoy a brighter smile! Your teeth will be more absorbent for the next few days so it is important to avoid dark substances such as red wine, coffee, tea, and dark sodas during this time.

This is also the time to maintain and further lighten your laser bleaching results by bleaching at home for a few days with Crest White Strips or custom trays. We recommend using sensitivity toothpaste like sensodyne, crest, or colgate to reduce any sensitivity. Should you have any white areas on the gum tissue they will disappear in one to two days. In order to maintain your new smile, we recommend you using white strips, custom trays or laser bleaching yearly.

Temporary Crown Care:

1.It is normal to have hot and cold sensitivity after crown and bridge work. If the gum tissue is tender, you may take an over the counter pain reliever.

2.Remember that if your temporary comes off, you may use Dentemp, Fixodent, or Polygrip to hold it in place until we can see you.

3.To avoid complications, please refrain from chewing hard or sticky foods.

4.Do NOT floss around the temporary.
